John and Jimmy Vivino played with Johnny Johnson for many years. When
The Spoonful were inducted into the R & R Hall of Fame, John
took his award and pasted Johnny's name on it. He told Johnny
to hang on to it until he was inducted. A few years later
Johnny was inducted and he sent John's statue back with a thank you note!
